各月の写真説明は以下になります。
表紙 Rainy Blue
雨が降る何気ない夕暮れのWest Village。この1枚には“失われた時代”が映っています。かつてそこに存在した店はもうそこには無く、またニューヨーク市内から路上公衆電話は撤去されました。“何気ない日常“が”もう戻れない過去“に変わった1枚です。

1月 White Field Hudson River
この1枚は2015年2月の朝です。10年前、ニューヨークで寒い時期が続くと、名物のようにHudson川を下ってくる流氷が見受けられました。ここ最近大雪が降る日もありますが、流氷も見かけませんし、長く寒い日々が続くという状況は少なくなってきている気がします。
2月 Snow Moon Dusk
2020年2月のSnow Moon。夕暮れ染まる京藤のような空、昇りゆく月、それをエンパイアステートビルの屋上から楽しむ観光客。COVID19外出禁止令が出る前のニューヨークになります。

3月 Arrival
“春の訪れは色から始まる“というイメージを1枚で表現してみました。誰もいないニューヨークの朝、赤い蕾が美しく一面に広がる枝、まだ肌寒い空気感などから”これから始まる春“を感じていただければ幸いです。
4月 Solar Eclipse 2024
2024年4月、ニューヨークで起こった約90％の皆既日食現象。この時は太陽が月に隠れてくるとひんやり寒く感じ、中々経験できないひとときを過ごしました。次にニューヨークで皆既日食が観測できるのは55年後の2079年、人生で2度見れたらラッキーですね。

5月 A News Stand
ニューヨークの街角のあちらこちらにキオスクは普通にありますが、このキオスクは何か変わっていませんか？そうです、手作り感満載の可愛い木造キオスクです。ニューヨークを歩いていると実に様々なものを見かけます。
6月 I CHI RI N
セントラルパークの有名なスポットベセスダテラス前の噴水。そこに咲き始める1輪の水連。小さくとも、この一輪が凛と咲いているだけで池が美しく見えた瞬間でした。
7月 Independence Day
アメリカの独立記念日に打ち上げられる花火はニューヨークの周りでも多く見られます。今年はOne World Trade Centerと合わせてみました。
大きな音と共に打ち上がる花火、それを盛り上げる周りの人々。独立記念日にしか味わえない夏の夜を感じてください。
8月 Supermoon 2023
このSupermoonはSeasonal Blue Moon 2021を除けば3年ぶりのBlue Moon。前回のBlue Moon はコロナ禍の2020年10月31日でした。この夜はエンパイアステートビルと重ねたくその日の為に下見にも行き、万全で挑んだのですが、雲だけは何ともしようがなかったです。あと少しでエンパイアステートビルと重ねられたのに...と。それでもこの雲をかき分けて出てきた3年ぶりのSuper Blue Moonは淡い色で美しくそこにいる人達を魅了してくれました。

9月 Never Yield
2021年9月11日、マンハッタンの夜空に創られたインスタレーションは、20年間に渡って9.11の国際的に強力なシンボルと三日月のコラボレーションになっています。"Tribute in Lights"を見た人は皆、そこに異なる意味を見ているようでしたが、三日月がちょうど2つの光の間に入った瞬間、私は一人一人と個人的な繋がりを感じました。この瞬間は、テロに決して屈しない新しい時代の始まりのイメージとして私の心に刻まれてました。尚、この1枚はパリの国際写真コンテストに入賞した作品です。

10月 Autumn Haze
ダウンタウン、旧市庁舎の周りに染める秋色、靄がかかる冷たく白い空気、まだ明かりが灯っていないクラッシックな街灯。少しセンチメンタルな気分にさせる黄昏近くの時間です。
11月 White Thread in Magic Hour
さそり座の新月が過ぎ、月齢1の繊月を自由の女神と合わせた作品になります。日没後から37分間だけ見える月、探すのに非常に苦労しましたが、何とか捕えることが出来ました。

12月 “Vintage train is coming to town”
このタイトルは“Santa Claus is Coming to Town”の曲タイトルとオーバーラップさせて名づけました。クリスマスの時期にVintage Trainが走るハーレム。雨の質感、クリスマスリースを飾った古い列車、この列車が緑で１Trainの赤という文字が写真内の色をクリスマスイメージにしてくれました。

【追記】1/8/2025
3月の写真について「ニューヨークのどこですか？」とのご質問がありましたので以下に撮影場所を載せました。
ここはManhattanのDowntown、Wagner Parkという公園の入り口、
入り口前にちょっとした展望台を兼ねた建物がありその上から撮影した1枚です。

ただ、現在は工事中で、建物・木々ごとなくなってしまったのでもうこの光景は見ることが出来ません
私にとってはいつも散歩していた場所だったので少し寂しい感じです。

Description of the Calendar 2025
This is the description of the Triangle NY calendar 2025 photos. I hope that this will help you to love my photography deeply.
I have three themes when selecting photos for my calendar,
1. Add a seasonal feel
I started taking photos seriously in 2010. I learned many beautiful things and precious moments through photography. When I miss Japan, sometimes I look for some sensitive moments of each season, and then I add a "sub-theme'' like seasonal elements into my frame to create even more attractive photos.
According to Calendar 2025, it is the January, March, June, July, October, and December photos.
2. Add a rare event that happened in New York.
I have been looking for the coincidences and miracles that occur on the “New York City” stage every day.
It is hard to immediately print out the most recent events because making a calendar takes time, but I strive to include photos that have happened in the past years.

3. Add a photo with the theme of “Moon in New York”
This is another theme I have been collecting since 2011. Sometimes I prefer the supermoon photo, and other times, I select the moon photos that I carefully photographed.

The cover photo: Rainy Blue
West Village on a casual evening with rain. This one image reflects a “Lost moment.” The store that once was there is no longer there, and a street payphone has been removed from New York City. This is the photo in which a casual everyday life has turned into a past that can never be returned to.
January: White Field Hudson River
This photo was taken on a February morning in 2015. Ten years ago, when New York experienced a long period of cold weather, drift ice could be seen floating down the Hudson River. Recently, there have been days of heavy snowfall, but no drift ice has been seen, and it seems that the number of long, cold days is decreasing.
February: Snow Moon Dusk
Snow Moon in February 2020. The wisteria-like sky at dusk, the rising moon, and tourists enjoying it from the rooftop of the Empire State Building. It was New York before the COVID-19 curfew was issued.
March: Arrival
I depict in one image the idea that "the arrival of spring begins with color." I hope that you can feel the "coming of spring" from the empty New York morning, the branches covered with beautiful red buds, and the still chilly air.
April: Solar Eclipse 2024
In April 2024, a total solar eclipse of about 90% occurred in New York. When the sun was hidden by the moon, it felt cold and chilly, and it was a rare experience. The next time a total solar eclipse can be observed in New York will be in 2079, 55 years from now, so if you can see it twice in your life, you will be the lucky person.
May: A News Stand
There are kiosks here and there on the streets of New York, but is there something special about this kiosk? Yes, it is a cute wooden kiosk with a handmade feel. When you walk down the street in New York, you can enjoy a wide variety of things.
June: I CHI RI N
A single water lily begins to bloom at the fountain in front of Bethesda Terrace, a famous spot in Central Park. Even though it was small, just this single flower blooming beautifully made the pond look beautiful to the people.
July: Independence Day
Fireworks on Independence Day can be seen all around New York. I selected the location for collaborating with One World Trade Center in 2024. Fireworks explode with a loud bang and make people get excited. I share with you the special summer night that can only be experienced on Independence Day.
August: Supermoon 2023
This supermoon was the first blue moon in three years, excluding the Seasonal Blue Moon 2021. The last blue moon was on October 31, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. We wanted to overlap it with the Empire State Building that night, so I went to scout the area in advance and went all out, but there was nothing I could do about the clouds. I was so close to overlapping it with the Empire State Building... But even so, the first super blue moon in three years emerged, pushing aside the clouds and captivating the people there with its soft, beautiful colors.
September: Never Yield
An installation created in the Manhattan night sky has become an internationally powerful symbol of 9.11 for two decades.
Everyone who looked at the "Tribute in Lights" seemed to see different meanings in the mind of each person, I felt a personal connection with every single person at the moment when the crescent moon just entered between the two lights.
This photograph is imprinted on me as the beginning of a new era that we would never yield to terrorism.

October: Autumn Haze
Downtown, the autumn colors around the Old City Hall, the cold white air with mist, the classic streetlights that are not yet lit. It's the time near twilight that makes me feel a little sentimental.
November: White Thread in Magic Hour
The new moon in Scorpio has passed, and I captured the very very thin moon with the Lady Liberty. The moon is only visible for 37 minutes after sunset, so it was hard for me to find this moon, but I finally caught it in my frame.
December: “Vintage train is coming to town”
This title overlaps with the song title "Santa Claus is Coming to Town.".
Harlem, where a vintage train runs during Christmas. The texture of the rain on the street, the old train decorated with Christmas wreaths, the green of this train, and the red of the word "1 Train" give the colors in the photo a Christmas image.
